Doris also has experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, as well as people living with intellectual disability and acquired brain injury. In addition to individual therapy, she provides couples counselling.

Her approach is client-centred and trauma-informed, integrating a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Depending on the client, sessions may incorporate art therapy, music-based and movement-based approaches (including dance/movement), Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed strategies.

Where appropriate, Doris may also offer gentle, non-contact acupressure point techniques as a complementary support within psychotherapy.

Doris holds a Master of Mental Health (Art Therapy) from The University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Art Therapy from La Trobe University. She is currently a PhD candidate at Shanghai University of Sport.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, Doris is committed to culturally responsive, inclusive, and psychologically safe practice.
