What is Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT)?
Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) is a therapeutic counselling method that is widely used by professionals around the world. It is a non-directive approach that emphases on the art of ‘being with’ the children, that involves ‘play’ as children’s universal language. Provided with a safe and structured therapeutic space and relationship with the therapist, children are free to explore and process understanding of their experience and feelings through play.
